Vanha kirkkopuisto ("Old Church Park") is located close to Helsinki city center. In 1790–1829 it was the official cemetery of Helsinki, known as Kampin hautausmaa ("Kamppi cemetery"). In 1829, the area was turned into a public park. Nowadays the park is also commonly referred as Ruttopuisto ("plague park") due to the plague victims that were buried nearby during the 1710s. Total of 48 headstones still remain in the park, from years 1790–1829.
